G8: Prices of commodities endanger growth

High prices of commodities, especially rock oil and foods, are a serious problem for global economic growth. Ministries of finances of countries G8 expressed it in a communiqué from two-day meeting in Japan on Saturday. The main topic of their discussions was expensive commodities headed by record prices of rock oil and their continuity with a weak exchange of dollar. High prices of commodities can increase inflation pressures in the world and damage the most vulnerable, ministries stated. Increased inflation pushed central banks to stiffen up monetary and credit policy which decelerates economic growth.

Tularaemia again appeared in Kladno region

A dangerous infection of hares, tularaemia, transferable on people, appeared again in the region Kladno. A died infected animal was found in a forest park Bažantnice at the edge of Kladno at the end of May. Owing to that the Regional Veterinary Administration has already issued a decree on extraordinary veterinary measures for prevention and damping of this infection, today’s Kladenský deník informs.

Mining harms more in the Czech Republic than abroad

Petrol and diesel decreased slightly in prices; gas stations wait
