European Parliament approved new instruction on wastes
The European Parliament approved a new framing instruction on wastes on Tuesday the 17 th of June. As Jakub Kašpar, a spokesman of the Ministry of Environment CR (MŽP) informed it is dealt with a fundamental regulation which governs requirements for waste treatment in all European twenty seven. “It is necessary to congratulate to Slovene presidency that it successfully found an agreement between the Council and the Parliament on so complicated and for a long time negotiated regulation already now”, the Minister of Environment Martin Bursík says.
Slovakia considers food price freeze due to adoption of Euro
Slovakia could freeze prices of 20 basic foods to protect consumers against unjustified increase of prices after adoption of Euro in January next year. Slovak Ministry of Agriculture referred it today and added that a suggested list includes for example bread, beef and pig meat, milk, butter, eggs, flour, apples, potatoes and sugar. “Freeze or moratorium is the only possibility”, a spokeswoman of the ministry said according to the age ncy Reuters. ”If retailers don’t approach to a speculative increase in food prices, such a moratorium will not be necessary at all”, she added.
Farmers and huntsmen break law on hunting
Farmers forfeit crop, vice versa huntsmen count damages to the young. The situation repeats every year. With start of works on agricultural land not only massacre of the young hidden in a growth can be expected but also sharpening relations among managing farmers and huntsmen. Will fruit and vegetable for free in schools in future?
Dotations of fruit and vegetable for school boarding as a prevention of child obesity. Fruit and vegetable could be for free in all schools in the European Union in the future. According to information from ČTK it will be proposed by the European Commission at a meeting of EU Ministries of Agriculture . The whole plan should cost about eight million Euros. It would be the first visible measure at all in a fight of Brussels against obesity of young people. Every year the number of child “fatties” increases by about 400 000 in the EU. The total number is already more than three million and other millions of pupils have excess weight.
