The biggest food company Nestlé called upon the top European politicians to revalue their hard disfavour for genetically modified crop-plants. Optimistic harvest perspective
For our predecessors harvest was the most beautiful period of year and a rich crop meant wealth for the whole next year. However, we look towards a harvest with apprehension. In today’s globalized world with a rule of supranational monopolies direct proportion “rich harvest – rich farmer” does not work. Cereals became a speculative commodity for rich financial funds, so it is rather hold what American economic textbook say: “in time of bad crops farmers are good off; in record harvest farmers have problems”. In recent years we found out that this is valid also for us.
It is not necessary to vaccinate against rabies every year
On base of a regulation of the veterinary law novel it is now possible within obligatory vaccination of dogs, cats, and ferrets against rabies to take into consideration to persistency of immunity which is guaranteed by a producer of the used vaccine. The point is that regardless of a used vaccine till this time it has been obligatory to vaccinate dogs, cats and ferrets annually. Regarding the fact that there are vaccines from various producers of the market guaranteeing immunity longer than one year, also the present approved veterinary law novel acknowledges this fact.
