Farmers produce electricity and heat. Organically

Bio-gas station in Lípa produces electric power and heat. It is operated by a daughter company of Agricultural Join-Stock Company in Lípa, a firm Biogas. A ceremonial opening of its operation took place on Thursday. „Bio-gas station in Lípa is a demonstration of how it is possible to produce effectively renewable energy“, Ondřej Bačík, a project manager of a supplying firm EnviTecBiogas Central Europe, said.

Financial crisis found victim. British beer

Sale of beer in the third quarter of this year decreased by 7 percent in Great Britain in comparison with the same period last year, as a server CNN informed. According to data of British Beer and Restaurants Association this year in the third quarter it was sold by 161 million pints less than last year there. In count per day it is by 1,8 million pint less.

Calamity effects stay in private forests

The European Forests Week, which should increase public awareness of forest significance in form of campaigns, ended. However, people in the region Jindřichův Hradec mostly go near to forests. „Now we go often to mushroom and still we can not get used to new felled areas even if some of them are already planted out again. However, consumers put a question by rights: „Are organically-grown foods safer?“ Many studies have been rea lized at the Institute of Chemistry and Food Analysis, Institute of Chemical Technology Prague (VŠCHT) in recent years. In frame of them they monitor nutrition, sensory and hygienic-toxicological quality of various kinds of products of organic farming.
