Scientists from the British Columbia University in Vancouver published a report on Wednesday which is a part of wide Annual Report on state of environment and resources. They write that annually 37 percents of haul of world oceans, so over 30 million tons of fish, is almost uselessly wasted away, mostly as a feed for fish and a fertilizer, although it is a rich nutrition resource.
