Cabbage is full of vitamins and minerals, moreover, it is cheap

Cabbage was never missing at court banquets in Mezopotamia Babylon. The king Nabuchodonozor liked it because it helped him to get rid of hangover. He had it quite often. His belief had a foundation. Cabbage contains a big amount of minerals, vitamins and water which body needs to manage faster consequences of drinking of excess amount of alcohol. The market offer cabbage in several types. From fragile early-ripening cabbage with delicious heart across savoy cabbage which in the category of vegetable belongs to the richest source of calcium, moreover, in easily absorbed form, to a classical head cabbage. In a culinary point of view the most appreciated kind is Brussels sprout with strictly sorted heads to the average 2 cm.

Factors influencing meat production

In present horizon prices of feed, fuels and human work are record high. It is also felt an influence of protest against reforming of the USA policy which leads to increase in ethanol production. Reproaches are heard not only from food-industry companies but recently also from politicians´ mouths. Producers complain of higher input costs and resulting increase of food prices which is a result of narrow-sighted policy. Nevertheless, American ministerial officers working in the area of agriculture forecast that front meat and poultry producers will face hard time because the production of food-industry companies is dependent on production of cereals.

EC wants wind power stations

Prices of energy increased at average by 15 percents in the European Union last year. Roughly 54 percent of energy needes in Europe is imported for the price 700 Euro per an EU citizen annually. Therefore the European Commission (EC) wants to increase energy efficiency and to decrease dependence on import. Brussels estimates costs for security of new power sources to billions Euros whereas it demarcated six priority areas – a plan of connection of Baltic states; Mediterranean energetic circuit; corresponding connection of gas-company and electric-power systems among the north, the south and the central and the south-east Europe; a supply network in the North sea; a south corridor for transportation of gas and efficient supplies of liquid natural gas (LNG) for Europe.

Transformation of Land Fund started

The government passed an amendment of act on Land Fund of the Czech Republic at its meeting today which was put forward by the Minister of Agriculture Petr Gandalovič. An aim of the novel is first steps to the Land Fund transformation. Concretely it is dealt with a change of management of the fund from collective to individual, further and enlargement of competences of the fund supervisory board, and with a maintenance of control function of the Chamber of Deputies. The novel also suggests a delimitation of extent of necessary reserve of the state land for realization of the state development intentions.
