Minister Martin Bursík to today´s negotiation of EU Council for Environment

The Minister of Environment Martin Bursík said to journalists during negotiation o f the EU Council for Environment among others today, “the CR supports fully activities of French presidency to reach an agreement on climate-energy packet still this year, so at the European Council which takes place next week. At today´s meeting I felt unambiguous will of all member states so that such an agreement would come into being. The climate-energetic packet is a fundamental motivation for turn of European economy to low-carbon economy and thereby to higher competitiveness.

CSO: In 49 week price of bread increased the most; eggs cheapened more significantly

In Czech shops in the week till the 2nd of December bread increased in price the most; also prices of carrot and paprika were higher. On the contrary, eggs, sugar crystal, and mineral water cheapened the most. It results fro a regular investigation of consumers´ prices of selected foods published by the Czech Statistic Office (CSO) today. Traders sold bread for prices up 74 hallers; it cost in average 22,94 crowns per kilogram. Carrot was on shop shelves for 12,64 crowns per kilogram, so more expensive by 39 hallers. Also prices of paprika grew more sihnificantly, by 1,55 crowns to 53,99 crowns per kilogram.

Committee recommend Parliament to pass subsidy programs in agriculture

At Friday´s negotiation the Agricultural Committee of Parliament recommend to pass subsidy programs in agriculture for next year in the form in which the Ministry of Agriculture had put them forward. At the same time the Committee recommended to pass a budget of the State Intervention Fund (SZIF). ČTK got the information from the Committee chairman Jiří Papež (ODS). In one of the adopted supporting decree the Committee called upon the Minister of Agriculture Petr Gandalovič (ODS) to try again to open a discussion on renewal of school milk support.

HESTIA helps to solve energy savings in house

A new version of program HESTIA VIVID was published on an address http://hestia.energetika.cz. It serves to design and evaluation of measures for energy savings in a family house. The program enables a fast comparison of different solution option from a viewpoint of total cost for the measure, total yearly energy savings as well as operation costs and recovery of investment, It is intelligible and easily manageable for laics – builders and owners of family houses. At the same time it is useful for specialists – architects, designers and developers to whom it will serve for example as a visual presentation for a client.
