For the present farmers postponed planned demonstration in Prague

For the present, farmers postponed a planned demonstration which, owing to the situation on milk market, they wanted to organize in Prague. Jan Veleba, the director of the Agrarian Chamber said it to ČTK today. According to him farmers got a assurance from the Ministry of Agriculture and of Finances today that the state will support them with a sum 2,8 billion crowns. The money should be determined for example for support of operation credits for farmers. The prepared demonstration was the main topic of a nation-wide meeting of chiefs of regional and county agrarian chambers today. According to Veleba, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and of Finances acquainted them with the fact that the state by means of the Subsidiary and Guarantee Rural and Forestry Fund will support financial flows in agriculture with 2,8 billion crowns. For example programs focused on support of operation credits should be open with which farmers have now difficulties to obtain.

Bursík turns; h will not be in principal against nucleus

The Ministry of Environment led by the chairman of the Greens, Martin Bursík, has admitted for the first time that it should not have to be in principal against nuclear energetics. It results from a statement of the office to a new State energy conception which will determinate Czech strategy by 2030 with the perspective for further 20 years. According to a concept of the new state conception a share of nucleus in power production should increase by 2030 from today´s third to a half. They do not count on a higher share of gas so that dependency on Russian export would not grow.

Low-pathogenic bird flu appears in many European countries

It has not been found out in the CR yet. It is not dealt with a highly pathogenic type H5N1, very dangerous and quickly sp reading, nevertheless, even in occurrence of H5N7 veterinary measures are adopted. The State Veterinary Administration of the CR warns all regional veterinary administration and admonishes to higher precaution towards the aviary influenza infection. The low-pathogenic flu has been found out for example in raisings in Norway, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Poland.

Bread sticks with dangerous melamin appeared in the Czech Republic

Foods with dangerous melamin have appeared in big amount on Czech market. Melamin is achamicals which is added in milk and other products and its excessive amount can also kill. The melamin got in the Czech Republic in bread sticks from Poland. There were seven thousand packages in shops, people have already bought two thousand. The other were successfully withdrawn from the shelves.It is dealt with bread sticks Emarko, 100 grams, the produced by Rieber Foods Poland. If a consumer bought these bread sticks with date of expiration on the 17th and 18th May 2009, he/she should by no means eat them.
