Governments approved support of farmers with two billion crowns from PGRLF
The state will support farmers with two billion crowns from the Subsidiary and Guarantee Rural and Forestry Fund (PGRLF). A draft of measure, which should reduce impacts of a financial crisis on farmers, was approved by the government today. ČTK was acquainted with it by a spokesman of the Ministry of Agriculture Petr Vorlíček. Money will go to support agricultural enterprises. They are a part of promise of the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Finances to farmers which averted their planned protests. The draft will now wander to be discussed in the Parliament. “After an agreement with the Minister of Finances, a draft of measure was prepared to support farmers against the economic crisis which was approved by the government today”.
First kefir BIO-milk
The first kefir BIO milk will be sold in the Czech Republic. Lovers of kefir milk who have missed this type of products in BIO quality till this time do not have to despair. Gandalovič successfully managed four-day presidency marathon
The Minister of Agriculture passed during four days the first management of the Council for Agriculture and Fishery, an introduction of presidency program in three committees of the European Parliament, a work meting with chairmen of these committees, and a work negotiation with the commissioner Mariann Fisher Boel and Androulla Vassilia. The minister Gandalovič covers in frame of the presidency agenda a spectrum of three parliamentary committees: agricultural, fishery and the Committee for Environment and Consumer´s Protection.
Occurrence of salmonella in the Czech Republic is the highest of all EU
The Ministry of Agriculture of CR does maximum to prevent spreading of dangerous food-industry microbes of salmonella and campylobacter. The Minister of Agriculture Petr Gandalovič told it at a press conference in the European Parliament. He presented priorities of Czech presidency the Committee for Environment. According to report of the Consumers Defence Association last trends show that salmonella and campylobacter rage in frame of European twenty seven the most just in the Czech Republic. A new study of European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) warned against it.
