Inspection stopped dangerous confectionery aiming at the Czech Republic

More than 270 kilograms of jelly bonbons wandering from Vietnam on Czech market were confiscated by the Custom Service together with the State Agricultural and Food Inspection. Mini-cups in various doses contained a forbidden substance karagenan. “Jelly containing added substances produced from sea weeds and gums as just the karagenan have been forbidden since 2004 in the European Union because they are considered as dangerous” , a spokeswoman of the Inspection Martina Šmídtová explained.

For satisfaction of varroasis recession we do not forget plague of bee larvas

We are really better off in our bee colonies considering varroasis. However, the plague of bee larvas still troubles bees and bee-keepers. Nevertheless, a fierce procedure which in fact we apply ex parte of bee-keepers, brings an effect. We will be able to convince about it in next years. Despite the fact that new centers of the disease appear in the Czech Republic, we cannot say speak about a worse situation than in 2008. Let´s us summarize a procedure against these two unpleasant infections. Varroasis can be cured. Bee-keepers proceeded especially last autumn according t o directions of the State Veterinary Administration and they treated bee-colonies with suggested (permitted) preparations which showed itself by this year´s good infection situation.

MŽP specified condition of program Green to savings

Today, the Ministry of Environment of the ČR (MŽP) specified conditions for spending of endowment support from a program Green to savings focused on heat cladding of households in the Czech Republic, building of passive houses, and installment of renewable energy resources for heating- A spokesman of MŽP Jakub Kašpar informed on it. A main change which according to him the specification of conditions brings is the fact that particular partial measures to reduction of energy consumption for heating will be recognizable for allotment of subsidy even if it was realized already in the past.

Lesy ČR set tenders for forestry contracts on 60 localities

Lesy České republiky, s.p. (Lesy ČR) started today a selection of contractual suppliers of forestry works on 60 contractual territorial units. Lesy ČR will use an open contractual proceeding according to the law on public contracts. The contractual proceedings concern contractual territorial units on which previous contracts have ended. Newly selected suppliers will have ensured management on these territories by the year 2010. Of the total number 60 newly closed contracts, 35 will be forcible from 1.11.2009, the remaining 25 then from 1.1.2010.
