Food producers suffer from lack of qualified employees
Czech food industry suffers from a lack of qualified employees. According to a spokeswoman of the Food Chamber of the CR, Dana Večeřová, not only employees in operation are missing but also middle management. A lack of interest in training branches appears in the long term also in many other fields of Czech industry. According to data provided by a chairman of the Entrepreneurial Baker and Confectioners Union, Jaromír Dřízal, 121 trainees passed the branch baker in last school year, while three years ago it was 200 young people.
