The Supreme Court of Slovakia decided on it today and confirmed a sentence of the regional court in Prešov passed seven years ago. A spokesman of the Supreme Court, Peter Préti, informed on it today. According to him an appeal is not admissible. The company produced so called Slovakian Becherovka on base of a licence contract bought from Zdeněk Hoffman´s mother. Hofmann claimed that he was a heir of recipe for herb liqueur because his grandfather got rights for trademark Johann Becher in 1939 by a deed of gift.

Standpoint of Ministry of Agriculture to protests in form of milk outpour

A problematic situation in milk sector is solved by the Ministry of Agriculture (MZe) since the very beginning when problems appeared in this branch. We are aware of the difficult situation in which milk producers are already for a longer time. However, MZe supports maximally all steps which are tasked to solve the burdensome situation of farmers producing milk. Nevertheless, we are sorry that the problematic situation in milk sector is even more escalated by protests actions which, in our opinion, do not bring solutions and only devaluate precious raw material, The CR counts on a support of milk market also by means of the article 68 from 2010.
