A Rural Development Committee approved a first wave of proposals from member states or regions using a now financing of rural development. Member states or regions suggested supplements to their rural development programs by means of which they can use means allotted on base of health check of the Common Agricultural Policy of European Union and European Economic Renewal Plan passed in November 2008.

SZPI revealed first sellers of adulterine stum this year

The State Agricultural and Food Inspection (SZPI) revealed the first seller of adulterated stum this year. A spokeswoman of SZPI Martina Šmídtová said it to ČTK today. The Inspection checked 18 samples of stum and one sample of grape must in fermentation indigenous Hungary. Six samples did not meet regulations. In all six cases the consumer was deceived, therefore an administrative procedure will be opened with the sellers, the spokeswoman told. The sellers who pour water in stum are under threat of a fine from SZPI in height as many as hundreds of thousands crowns.

Price of sugar decreased in London

Two days consecutive, a price of white sugar aimed down on London change Euronext life on Friday, owing speculations that Pakistan government would postpone purchases of this commodity. Pakistan intends to import 500 thousands of white or raw sugar, however, there is an uncertainty regarding the time when the purchases should be realized and the price for which Pakistan government would like to buy sugar. White sugar lost 6,90 dollars (1,2 %) in delivery terms in March and closed at 590,30 American dollars for ton.

Cancellation of obligatory vaccination against bluetongue in Geramany

A decision to cancel an areal obligatory vaccination against catarrhal sheep fever in cattle, sheep and goats has been adopted in Germany. In spite of all special suggestions, majority of ten federal republics adopted a decision to cancel the obligatory vaccination against catarrhal sheep fever of serotype B in cattle, sheep and goats at the end of last week in the whole Germany. The relevant incentive has been already put forward to the Federal Council.
