Cocoa lost

A price of cocoa aimed down during Tuesday séance on the change ICE Futures in reaction to an improved state of deliveries from Ivory Coast, the most significant grower country. The piece decrease was the most significant in last two weeks and cocoa got at the lowest values in last four weeks. In the period from the 1st October to the 8th of November, 227 thousands of weight tons of cocoa beans were delivered in ports which is by 100 thousands more than in the same period last year. The cocoa price fell also thanks to a slight strengthening of American dollar.

It will be allowed to go in forest in Krkonoše

A movement in free terrain out of marked tourist paths will be possible also in the second zone of the National Park Krkonoše. Till this time, tourists might go free in forest and meadows only in the least protected third zone and in the protected area of the park. The change is included in new visiting regulations of the park which should come in force from the beginning of next year. The second zone has 3400 hectares which is about six percents from the total 55 thousands hectares of national park.

Rapid development of genetically modified rape in Canada

Canadian farmers grew above all genetically modified rape, but also corn, soya and cotton on 7,6 mil. ha in 2008. In the worldwide comparison of grower areas Canada belongs on the top. From a permission of the first genetically modified variety of rape in 1996 the growing started rapidly to develop. Rape tolerant towards herbicides grows on more than 5 mil. ha, so almost on all Canadian rape fields. Roughly 90 % of rape production falls on genetically modified crops.

MŽP disagree with proposal of energy conception from MPO workroom

The Minister of Industry and Trade (MPO) Vladimír Tošovský introduced an updating of the State Energy Conception. MPO suggests among others a support of nuclei and breakthrough of coal mining limits in October. The Ministry of Environment (MŽP) in frame of marking proceedings refuses a vision of energetics which is connected with a creation of nuclear waste and demolition of towns. Currently, the MPO proposal is in a marking proceedings. The Ministry of Environment in frame of the marking proceeding expressed a disagreement with several points of the proposal.
