Food-producers dislike tightening of payment conditions of Makro

A wholesale network Makro tightened payment conditions to large food suppliers before Christmas. The Food Chamber notified it to ČTK. Reputedly, the chain requires for example, so that its suppliers would pay bonuses for their products, which Makro will sell in third quarter of the year, in advance. Moreover, from the half of December to the 5th of January the chain will stop payments for delivered goods, Dana Večeřová, a spokeswoman of the Food Chamber, stated. The company Makro management mentioned that it is going to negotiate about the objections with representatives of the Chamber next week.

Agricultural committee of Chamber of Deputies suggested increasing of national subsidies for 2010

At today´s meeting, the Agricultural Committee of the Chamber of Deputies approved increase for agricultural grant programs by 200 million crowns for 2010. Thanks to the increase the national subsidies would get at the last year´s level. The increase will be approved by the Chamber of Deputies in frame of state budgetary procedure. Financial means determined for subsidy programs for 2010 would stem newly from the financial limit in height 1,1 bil. CZK, respectively 850 mil. CZK of subsidies for non-investment subsidies and 250 mil. CZK for purchase of long-term tangible property (capital expenditures).

Buying of Christmas tree last-minute does not pay off

People start to think of a purchase of Christmas tree. Yuletide is behind doors. However, they often leave the purchase of tree at the last moment. They think that when they buy t later, it will last longer. However, hardly anybody knows that almost all trees sold throughout December are cut at the same time. Therefore they will last the same time regardless whether people buy them now or just one day before Christmas. “When people buy a tree last-minute, they only forfeit a possibility of wider variety”, Oldřich Vyhnálek selling trees on Palacký square in Kutná Hora told.

Term for settlement of share in cooperatives will not be apparently prolonged

A term for settlement of property shares in before-November agricultural cooperatives will not be probably prolonged. The Parliament decided on it when votes of ČSSD, KSČM and KDU-ČSL cross a parliamentary proposal for five-year prolongation of term off the program of December meeting. In most case the term is about to end this year, nevertheless many people have not come into their own shares yet. Owing to that fact, many of them want to turn to courts, even international ones.
