Fifth round of acceptance of Applications for subsidies from OP Fishery will be opened in February 2010

In frame of the fifth round of the Operational Program Fishery, applicants will be able to submit Applications for subsidies for projects in the measure 2.1. Measure for productive investments in aquaculture, and 2.4. Investment in processing and introduction on market, intentions a) and b). The fifth round of acceptance of applications from OP Fishery will be opened on the February 18, 2010 and finished on the March 8, 2010 at 13 o´clock. Czech food producers declared war to chains

Czech producers want to mark the best-quality regional foods with a new symbol Regioklasa from the next year. “That´s terrible, these supermarkets, their sausages maybe just whisked past meat. Farmers´ incomes in EU decreased by 12 percents this year

Farmers´ incomes in the European Union per one employee decreased by 12,2 percents this year, mainly owing to fall in food process. It results from preliminary data of the statistic office Eurostat. Incomes in the Czech Republic decreased by 24,1 percents, so, in the fourth fast pace in frame of EU members. The biggest fall was recorded in Hungarian agriculture where incomes per employee decreased by 35,6 percents. It was followed by Italy and Luxembourg with more than quarter decrease. Incomes in Britain vice versa increased by 14,3 percents and in Malta by 9,1 percents. Also farmers in Finland, Cyprus and Greece recorded an increase.

Government will negotiate budget draft of Land Fund on Monday

The Government will negotiate a budget draft of the Land Fund of the CR for the next year which counts on a surplus in height of 218,6 million crowns. Total incomes of the fund should reach 1,963 billion crowns next year, the expenditures 1,744 billion crowns. The Ministry of Agriculture will put forward the material to the Cabinet. Together with surpluses after this year, the Fund budget should have the total balance 3,718 billion crowns at the year 2010 end. Among others the Fund controls state agricultural real estate and gives over compensatory lands to restituents. On base of approved novel, a way of management will be changed from the January 1, 2010.
