Government asked Parliament for fast negotiation of “boards to ponds”

Near places where people swim in the open air information boards with data about water pollution should appear in the future. The duty to inform swimmers about water quality is imposed to swimming pools/open air pools by an amendment of act on protection of public health, sent by the government into the Parliament on Monday with an application for accelerated negotiation by the time the representatives disperse before elections. The Czech Republic is now under a threat of sanction for violation of European right because of missing posters. The information boards should be also in places where people often bathe in a river or a pond without the locality being an official swimming bath.
