Kozák in Impuls: Requirements of creator of logo Klasa are serious problem

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture Stanislav Kozák considers an accusation that the state distributes the mark Klasa without a compliance of its logo creator - an advertising agency Štrob Širc & Slovák – as a serious problem. He told it in the radio Impuls on Monday. According to Kozák, the Ministry of Agriculture bought the mark for 400 000 crowns in 2003, however, he was not able to say whether the contract is sufficiently treated against other requirements of the agency. According to a lawyer Petr Mikyska, the department agriculture never got the right to allot the logo to other firms.

Sale of agricultural machinery decreased by 40 percents in Czech Republic last year

1721 tractors were sold in the Czech Republic last year which is by 44 percent less than in 2008. 171 harvester treshers, popularly combines, were sold, year-on-yearly by 40 percent less. A director of secretariate of the Agricultural and Forestry Machinery Association Dušan Benža told it at a press conference on fairs Techagro in Brno today. A trio of agricultural, veterinary and forestry fairs Techagro, Silva Regina and Animal Vetex starts on Sunday the 21st of March in Brno fairground and will last five days.

Ministry of Agriculture announces competition for best land adjustment

The Central Land Office and the Bohemian-Moravian Chamber of Land Adjustments announce the 4th year of public nationwide competition which is set for support of quality realization of land adjustment proposals. The deadline for applications of the competition for the best realized common facilities in land adjustments is the 31st of May, 2010. One of aims of this inspirational and interesting competition is to acquaint the public with an extent and a level of realization of common facilities proposed in land adjustments. Common facilities can be entered in the competition by locally competent land office, engineer´s firm, respectively a designer of land adjustment, an author of realization project, a realization firm, or a municipality, respectively an owner of the common facilities.

EU approved its engagement for bio-diversity protection yesterday

Ministers of Environment of the EU member states agreed on EU aim on bio-diversity protection yesterday. The pledge themselves inside the EU to stop by the year 2020 decrease of biological diversity and degradation of eco-system services, and to renew them in maximum practicable extent. At the same time the EU should increase its contribution to distraction of decrease of biological diversity in the worldwide basis. “The EU defined its position with a sufficient advance to help a success of meeting of contract parties of the Agreement on biological diversity in Japan Nagoj in October 2010”, the Minister of Environment of the CR Jan Dusík explains.
