Lesy ČR gave million for development of station network for ill animals

A network of national stations for handicapped animals will be supported by a state enterprise Lesy ČR by a million crowns this year. The stations are administrated by the Czech Union for Nature Conservation (ČSOP); owing to an economic crisis it does not have to secured financing of further development of the stations this year. The financial donation of Lesy ČR will be determined for a support if investment activities in the stations, for finishing of building and enlargement of the stations, an improvement of technical conditions and equipment, an ČSOP office director, Petr Stýblo, informed ČTK.

Check of NKÚ focused on support of fishery revealed deficiencies

An audit engagement of the Supreme Control Office (NKÚ) focused on a support of Czech fishery co-financed from EU means by means of operational programs Rural development and multifunctional agriculture (OP RVMZ) and Fishery revealed deficiencies. They concerned mainly activities conducted by managing body, the Ministry of Agriculture (MZe).

Sedmička.cz: Zetor struggle for giant commissions in Iraq

Brno company Zetor struggle for a commission for delivery of several thousands of tractors in Iraq and a restructuring of a local tractor fitting-shop, a server Sedmička.cz presented today. The commission can revive a tractor production in Brno, the server added. “The commission is very interesting for the Czech side. Its obtaining would mean a revival of tractor Zetor deliveries in Iraqian market and a positive signal for other traditional Czech suppliers into Iraq”, a spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Pavel Vlček, said to the server. According to him, the commission was one of topics of discussions during October visit of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Vladimír Tošovský, in Iraq.

Milk consumption in Germany

Older people in Germany do not reduce milk and milk products consummation so significantly as meat consummation. They appreciated especially a health contribution of milk consummation. A height of milk and milk products consumption depends on the same influences that work upon the meat consumption. When a number of population decreases, also the milk consumption should decrease. However, in this case, contrary to meat, three substantial differences are applied. The consumption of milk products does not decrease in older people so significantly as in meat. A national consumption study documented that the meat consumption per one inhabitant of Germany in retiring age had decreased by one third.
