Lynx will not domesticate soon in the Czech Republic. Poachers do not mercy upon them

The endangered northern lynx has ideal conditions for life in Jeseníky, despite the fact a number of these animals does not increase in open air. Employers of the Administration of protected landscape area Jeseníky think that an illegal hunting of this animal is the cause obstructing its wider enlargement in the Czech Republic. Although the lynx belongs to original species of our fauna, owing to a gradual landscape deforestation and hunting it was extirpated in the Czech Republic in the 19th century. 17 lynxes were set free in open air in Šumava in 80´s of the last century which became a base of new population of these beasts of prey.
