Bio-foods from China penetrate still more and more in Europe

China has already started to be a problem for bio-foods producers even in the European Union. It has already managed to become one of the biggest current world bio-food producers. Chinese firms practically do not sell them at home; all production is exported in Europe and North America. In total 95 percents of bio-foods are consumed in the advanced world. According to a chief of the agency Green Marketing, Tom Václavík, China has not own standards for organic farming now, therefore local products have to be certificated by foreign certification authorities, according to where the goods will be determined for European, American or Japan markets.

Exceptions from vaccination against bluetongue

Our union asked officially the State Veterinary Administration of the CR (SVS) for a possibility to grant exception from vaccination in breeding bulls which works in a natural breeding. The reason is breeders´ information of that there are problems with cows to get in calf owing to the vaccination. SVS listen to the plea, however, it announced that there will be any changes of extraordinary veterinary measures (MOVO). Nevertheless, breeders can submit an individual application for an exception. It has to be addressed according to the article VI MVO directly to the State Veterinary Administration (not a Regional Veterinary Administration) and substantiated simply.

Hop infections have any chance

Hop stunt viroid (HSVd) is increasing very serious hop disease which leads, according to a type of particular varieties and weather influence, to massive loses in yields and quality decrease. The infections HSVd have been known only in Japan and Korea for a long time where they have occurred in Japan varieties since forty years of the last century. The hop stunt viroid was found in hop-gardens in the United States of America for the first time in 2004.

Game liquidate sowing, officers will not help to farmers

Since the last weekend, several hectares of freshly sown cereals and last year´s winter rape have disappeared to farmers beyond recall. Private farmers have now hundreds of thousands damages, however, from whose refund everybody distances. Reparation is far away. Moreover, it is not possible to insure against damages caused by game. Huntsmen do not have so much money in their cash for compensatory damages and officers will not allow an exception for shoot of big game, which is the main delinquent. Despite evidently large herds, which every day pasture sowing in large area for example in Běleč, officers insists on that number of game is adequate and game is not overpopulated.
