Swedish promote use of domestic feeds

Swedish Organic Farmers Association - Ekologiska Lantbrukarna (EkoLan) - demands that all farmers in the country stop to feed animals with imported feeds and to use feeds of domestic provenance instead. According to the Association, feeds from abroad are reliable for a big part of negative impacts on agriculture, climate and health, and it hoped that need of feed will have been fully successfully met by 2015.

Sale of milk from automats decreased, people are afraid of diseases

Sale of milk from automats, according to farmers in Vysočina, has decreased by about a third in last two months. A reflux of interested people is added to media information about a possible harmfulness of fresh milk. According to first checks, made by veterinarians in the region, milk was in order. Customers should pay attention to advice on automats that raw milk has to be overcook before drinking. A director of the Regional Veterinary Administration, Jiří Šulc, said it to ČTK today. 15 automats operate in Vysočina.

Over eight bil. CZK is prepared for land adjustments

The Ministry of Agriculture supposes that 8.25 billion in total crowns will go for land adjustments, which specify property relations to land, from domestic and European resources in 2010 to 2013.Hereat, more than 13 billion crowns was needed; it results from data disposable to ČTK. According to experts, a lack of finances is one of reasons of a slow land adjustment process. The main resource for financing of land adjustment is the state budget from which three billion crowns should be drawn, 2.5 billion should be provided by the EU in frame of the Rural Development Program.
