Tariff helps police to set value of illegally hunted game

Value tariff for game and fish helps to solve problems of poaching and values of poached game. This tariff serves for purposes of the Police of the CR and was prepared in cooperation with it and some non-governmental organizations. The aim is to provide the Police a guidance for its decision making in cases of poaching.

Changes of norm for electric fencers are coming!

Sources of impulses for electric fence produced in the whole world have to generally meet international standards for this facility whose creation is covered in the organization International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The rule in operation keeps marking IEC 60335-2-76. This norm secures that the product is safe correctly used and that it have been developed in the current state on base of many-year experience and researches of electric current influence on human body.

Bio stagnates: None actually knows why to buy it

One of the most visible failures of an exquisite idea with marketing and lobbying is the mark Bio in the Czech Republic, in my point of view. An idea old more than hundred years about a harmonious food production and sustainability of quality environment changed in an unwanted problem. Today, almost twenty years after the European Economic Community adopted the first obligatory norm and recognized organic farming, we are in a situation when bio rolls on us from all sides but none actually knows why to buy it and what it means.

Farmers finished spring works

Weather of recent days enabled farmers in Klatovy region almost to finish all spring works on fields. However, now they are afraid of strengthening of morning frosts, or of an often change of rain and sun which could favour to mould development. They sowed fewer areas this year against last years. It is because of persisting low buy-out prices of cereals. “Neither this year we have any vision that prices could increase during the year. Unbalance of structure between plant and animal production grows in favour of the plant one which means in practice reduction of numbers of animals.
