Agrofert overruled Alimex Nezvěstice, agricultural farm from Pilsen region

Holding Agrofert obtained a majority interest in one of the biggest agricultural enterprises in Pilsen region, the joint-stock company Alimex Nezvěstice. It was presented by a server Euro.cz. Ändrej Babiš´s Agrofert overruled Alimex thanks to its decisive share in Agro Blatná, a former agrochemical enterpise which trades with fertilizers and secured their applications.

Farmers want head of health officer, he reputedly slanders milk from automats

The president of Agrarian Chamber, jan Veleba, sharply criticized a chief health officer of the CR, Michael Vít who, according to him, spreads startlers and untrue information regarding to health risks of consummation of fresh milk from farmer automats. Veleba insist on that owing to “a frantic campaign”, boosted just by the chief health officer, interest of people in milk from automats decreases significantly, and he threatened with a legal reprisal and appeal on Vít´s demission. More than one hundred of milk automats work in the Czech Republic now. The number started to increase since last year´s autumn and according to some estimations, 1000 in total should have been installed till the next year end.

Political parties and countryside

To create a really real, on logical basic and rationale presumptions built program for the rural space is one of few really functional tests of political representations. Contrary to other topics, it is not possible within conception of development of agriculture and enterprise in the countryside to make do with general, more or less populist formulas because they can not be dissolved in anonymity of a town crowd. Therefore, the quality and philosophy of programs of the main political parties standing in the coming elections in the rural area is an important guide for comparison of quality of programs as a whole.

Prices of agricultural commodities on Corn exchange still stagnates

Prices of agricultural commodities have not almost changed since the last séance two weeks ago on the Corn exchange in Brno. Owing to an effort to maintain reserves there are very slight corrections. A general secretary of the exchange Karel Zezula said it to ČTK today. Most of prices has slightly increased; only malting barley has cheapened. Differences in prices have moved in a range from minus one to two percents since the last exchange meeting. The biggest increase by roughly two percents was recorded by businessmen in rye. In FCA parity, when transportation is paid by the buyer, one tonne costs 2150 crowns now. In DPP parity, when transportation on the place of destination is covered by the seller, it is 2255 crowns per tonne.
