Land owners joined Association

The Land Owner Union of the CR (SVP) has become the 41st independent association included in the Private Agriculture Association of the CR (ASZ). An accession agreement confirming the decision of both organizations was signed by chairmen of ASZ Ing. Josef Stehlík and SVP Ing. František Janda at a general meeting of ASZ ČR in Jihlava on Tuesday the 11th of May, 2010. Regarding the fact that an overwhelming majority of ASZ members are at the same time land owners, it is dealt with a logical and natural result of the present and longtime cooperation. Let´s hope that this step will mean first of all a beneficial connection and strengthening of negotiating positions of the both organizations.

Ministers of Agriculture of CR and Serbia signed Memorandum of Understanding

On base of invitation of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Serbia, Saša Dragin, the Minister of Agriculture of the CR, Jakub Šebesta, executed an official visit of this country. The ministers signed the Memorandum of Understanding concerning a cooperation of both countries in the area of agriculture. The Minister Šebesta also took part in an international conference on the topic Common Agricultural Policy – approaches and changes. “The Czech Republic considers Serbia as a close ally and a partner and I believe that the signature of Memorandum will strengthen friendly relations and cooperation in the agricultural area between our countries.

Bio milk products are offered both the healthy nutrition shops and local eco-farmers

Yoghurts, cheeses, butter – it is a common assortment of milk products in bio-quality in healthy nutrition shops in Olomouc. However, bio-milk is not available in the healthy nutrition shops, also cottage cheeses and soured milk beverage “kyška” is also hardly buyable. The Movement Rainbow (Hnutí DUHA) in cooperation with its voluntaries carried out a inquiry of bio milk products in four health nutrition shops in Olomouc n April. The lowest amount of these goods was found out in a shop Studánka which offers goat cheese and Greece specialties, however, not in bio-quality. The wider assortment is in the Pí centrum in Pavelčákova street where the customer can choose from five kinds of cheeses, three kinds of butter, yoghurts and kyška.

General meeting of Private Agriculture Association of CR elected Josef Stehlík new chairman

Many important events happened at last already the 12th general meeting of the Private Agriculture Association of the CR in Jihlava. The main point of program was an election of new executive board, vice-chairmen and a chairman. Stanislav Němec, who was at the foundation of the Association 12 years ago, announced that he would not stand for the head of our country organization in the next electoral period
