Milk automat is despite big popularity disadvantageous for farmers

People fell for a milk automat in Kyjov. However, for farmers it is an disadvantageous investment. People from Kyjov can chew on fresh milk already for one month. More than hundred liters of milk is sold daily. In the future they could be joined by people in Hodonín; a proposal for installment of milk automat lies in the town hall in Hodonín. “Local people are used to fresh milk. Therefore there is really a big acceptance. No complaint has appeared. Only a hooligan dropped a foam in a coin compartment”, an owner of firm operating the milk automat, Vojtěch Marek told.

Efforts for expropriation of Havránková – evident arrogance of power

The Association of Private Agriculture of the CR (ASZ ČR) unambiguously denies a procedure of the government which appeared in last days in connection with a planned expropriation of farmer Havránková´s property for finishing of a building of a highway D11 next to Hradec Králové. As a chairman of ASZ ČR Josef Stehlík told, “Without an exaggeration it is dealt with a dangerous leading case which will release efforts for expropriation of private property even in other places. The institute of expropriation of private property should be used by the state absolutely extraordinarily – only after it is out of all doubts verified that it is not really possible to reach the fulfillment (till this time nowhere exactly defined) of public interest in other way or if another solution represents inadequate costs from the side of state.

Czechs eat more milk products

250 kilograms per person. So much milk products were consumed by each Czech at average last year. It arises from preliminary results of the Bohemian-Moravian Dairy Industry Union. The consumption would grow by roughly seven kilograms per head. Hereat, a production of inland dairy works decreased last year and again increasing demand of the Czechs for milk products is still more and more met by imported products. Their share in the total consumption approximates already to 40 percents. “Consumers are still more and more aware of the importance of milk nutrition and milk products”, a chairman of the Union, Jiří Kropáček, told today. According to him, that is the reason people eat above all more products with higher added value as yoghurts and cheeses.
