The programme Partnership Green to Savings (Partnerství Zelená úsporám) was officially opened by a ceremonial signature of a Memorandum today. It was signed by the Ministress of Environment Rut Bízková, Radek Hacaperka, a managing director of BHS household appliances supplying shops of the mark Bosh and Siemens, Zdeněk Štětina, a managing director of the firm GORENJE, Jaroslav Holakovský, a chairman of the directorship of Elektrowin and at the same time a technical director of the company Fagor, and Ján Živný, a marketing director of the firm Whirpool. An example of other already involved companies are CECED CZ- the Association of European producers of household appliances, Philips Czech Republic, and Pražská energetika, a.s.

The most wood of regions in the country was harvested in south of Bohemia last year

2.2 million cubic meters of wood was harvested in Sputh-Bohemian forest last year, the most of all regions in the country. The amount of harvested wood is roughly the same as last year. The region has the largest forested areas in the country; foresters manage on more than 386 000 hectares there. It resulted from new data of the Czech Statistic Office. Forester cut the most often spruces, they amount to 85 percents of the total harvest. A casual harvest represented roughly a half of the total harvest last year. At the last year´s beginning, foresters fumbled with low buy-out prices of wood.

Gardeners will not have law, Klaus vetoed it

Gardeners will not wait to see a law governing their activity. The draft was vetoed by the President Václav Klaus today. It was stated on his web. According to the President is not necessary to to regulate one of many spare-time activities by a separate precept of law. The present parliament will not vote down the President; the law ends the legislative process. According to the President, it is dealt with next of a range of laws by means of which various interest groups try to govern circumstances in their field, eventually to attribute a higher social prestige to it. “To use a law for such objectives is highly unsuitable and for transparency and expediency of legal order also dangerous”, Klaus stated.

Babiš impoverished last year, profit of Agrofert decreased by 700 millions

Consolidated incomes of the group Agrofert Holding of Andrej Babiš decreased by 15 to less than 86 billion crowns last year. The net profit of the group decreased year-on-yearly by 700 million to 3.7 billion last year. A consolidated final account includes results of 203 firms which Agrofert covers in. Unconsolidated incomes of Agrofert decreased to 119.08 billion crowns last year from the year before the last 138.57 billion. The holding firms owed in loans 20.96 billion crowns, by 1.17 billion less year-on-yearly. Babiš said already earlier that deterioration of financial indicators was caused by the economic crisis which manifests in agriculture above all by a fall of buy-out prices of commodities.
