Ministress Bízková: We have already made first steps to improvement of atmosphere in Moravian-Silesian region, others will follow this year

The Ministress of Environment Rut Bízková summarized the present work of her department in the area of solution of atmosphere quality in Moravian-Silesian region today. Just the improvement of atmosphere in this region is one of main priorities which the ministress set at entering the function in half of April. Since that time the Ministry of Environment has realized many concrete steps.

Ecological experts want to discuss about introduction of ecological duty

Ecological experts of nascent coalition ODS, TOP 09 and VV wants the government to pursue an implementation of ecological duty for products which rise burdens the environment. A negotiator of the Věci veřejné (VV) Vít Bárta told that partners the opinion of his party of implementation of duties at European level accepted and will recommend so that the formulation about ecological duty would become a scope of employment of the team which deals with foreign policy. However, according to information of the Ministry of Finances, any changes in the customs tariff have to be approved by the entire European Union. Member states do not have any authorities in the area of setting of duties.

Wine consumption grows further, this year belongs to pink ones

Truth is in wine, a well-known saying speaks. And the Czechs attach bigger and bigger weight to these words. While at the beginning of 90´ s, only 11 liters was drunk per head yearly in our republic, in recent year the consummation starts to increase. “According to preliminary data it looks meantime that the consummation will rise to as many as 19 liters over the last year, which is pleasant news, a director of the Viticultural Fund of the CR Jaroslav Macgovec confirmed to Deník.

Food inspection revealed dangerous food supplement, already third this year

In the long term, the State Agricultural and Food Inspection paid a higher attention to check of food supplements, especially regarding the safety. Last year, the inspection warned against five dangerous supplements, this year it solves already the third case. Laboratory analyses have detected a substance aildenafil in food supplements Man Power declaring support of men potency, which had been imported in the CR from Estonia. According to health evaluation of the Ministry of Health of the CR, the food containing this substance is health dangerous.
