Sales of Czech breweries decreased after rise in price

Sales of Czech breweries decreased by more than ten percents in the first four months this year, an executive director of the Czech Beer and Malt Association Jan Veselý told. According to brewers, the decrease in sale in restaurants and shops was caused January rise in beer price. The consumption beer tax has increased by 50 hellers per half a liter from January; most of breweries raised the beer price by as much as one crown subsequently. According to Veselý, the demand for beer decreased significantly after the January rise in price when the sale fell year-on-yearly by more than 15 percents, in February by more than nine percents.

Government approved material of Ministry of Environment about setting of rules of application of environmental requirements in ordering public commissions and purchases of state administration and self-government today

At today´s meeting (14.6.2010) the government approved a material submitted by the Ministry of Environment which deals with Rules of application of environmental requirements in ordering public commissions and purchases of the state administration and self-government and fulfills the Notification of European Commission to public commissions for better environment. The aim of material is transparent and systematical application of environmental requirements in ordering of public commission by the state administration in determined groups of products which should be applied for the areas of office furniture and purchase of computer technology already from the November 1, 2010.
