Hop-growers wish that it will get cool otherwise hop will blossom out too early

Leť s get cool as soon as possible, Czech hop-growers wish. The plants need to grow, however, they will blossom out quickly and stop growing in hot weather. The ideal situation would be if temperature get below 25 centigrade degrees and remain there next two weeks. Jiří Kořen from the Hop Growing Institute in Žatec said it to ČTK today. According to him, it is too early to evaluate a harvest but reputedly it will not be bad. “We hop-growers have a weather lore which says that the plants should reach the wires on the Petr and Pavel name day. And, it has happened”, Kořen told a day after the name day. However, the hopeful development could be destroyed by hot weather in which already first bloom started to appear.

New Minister of Environment will be Pavel Drobil

ODS, TOP09 and VV came to an agreement on division of ministerial chairs today at night. In the government in which none chair will be occupied by a woman the function of Minister of Environment will get Pavel Drobil from ODS. After graduation at law university in Brno Pavel Drobil worked as an attorney with focus on business law. He stood for parliament in 2010 as a leader of regional ticket of Moravian-Silesian region where he had hold office of representative and deputy hetman for economic development and European structure till this time. He was elected an ordinal vice-chairman of ODS on the June 20, 2010.

Ivan Fuksa

A new Minister of Agriculture will be Ivan Fuksa, a member of ODS (Příbram). I was born on the 15th of July 1963 in Příbram. I grew up in an incomplete family only with mother. I have finished the primary school in Příbram and started the High technical school of transport in Prague. In 1986 I have graduated at the University of Transport and Communications.

Czech growers go against import with vegetable with stamp

Tomatoes, onion or cucumber which you buy in shops come mainly from the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. Czech growers of fruit and vegetable want to change it and to support more the pure Czech and more carefully grown vegetable.
