Czech Republic is under threat of fine from EU owing to erosion of agricultural land
The Czech Republic is under threat of fine from the European Union in height of hundreds of millions crowns owing to a breach of agricultural policy from the land erosion area. The Minister of Agriculture Ivan Fuksa said it journalists at the exhibition Země Živitelka (Earth Breadwinner) yesterday. Almost a half of arable land is endangered by erosion in the Czech Republic. Hereat, the minister has decided that he tightens up condition of farming on a land endangered by erosion.
Seventh round of reception of Applications for grants from OP Fishery will be started in October 2010
In frame of the seventh round of the Operational Programme Fishery, applicants will be able to submit Applications for grants for projects in the measure 3.4. Pilot projects, the intention a). The seventh round of reception of applications from the OP Fishery will be started on the October 10, 2010 and terminated on the October 25, 2010 at 13 o´clock. Rules for provision grants for projects in this measure were approved by the Minister of Agriculture on the July 2, 2010.

Prize Zlatý klas was obtained by plum barbecue sausage and fertilizer
Plum barbecue sausage, Gothaj salami, a leaf fertilizer, or a sowing machine which simultaneously fertilizes obtained an award Zlatý klas (golden spike) at the exhibition Země živitelka (Earth Breadwinner). 16 entered exhibits compete in 5 categories; 11 of them were appreciated. The number of entered exhibits has decreased in recent years, Stanislav Kozák, a jury chairman of told. The number was influenced also the fact that a competitive exhibition Tech agro took place in Brno this year.
