MfD: Premier Nečas wants Martin Říman instead of Drobil in government

The Premiere Petr Nečas (ODS) would like a chief of his adviser Martin Říman to become a new minister of environment. Several well informed civic democrats confirmed that. Today´s Mladá fronta Dnes (MfD) stated it. A former Minister of Environment Pavel Drobil (ODS) resigned owing to a corruption affair in the State Environment Fund (SFŽP). According to some ODS members, Nečas has not completely buried an idea that Drobil would return in the government. In such a case Říman would return in the role of premier´s adviser.

Number of shot-up birds and huntsmen will grow, huntsmen warn against ban of lead

A part of amendment of hunting law, which will forbid huntsmen to hunt water fowl with lead cold shots, will come in force on the first day of new year. They have to change them for steel. Breach of the law will be fined by as many as 30 thousand crowns. An aim of the measure is to decrease concentration of these cold shots in water reservoirs and their surroundings because water birds can eat the poisonous lead with feed. So, huntsmen will have to use ammunition with shot iron which will cause, according to them, many problems.

Foot-and mouth disease in South Korea

Although South Korea set in fight with foot-and-mouth disease more than 144 000 employees at 1 200 inspection posts, this acute and highly infectious viral disease of cloven-hoofed mammals further without restrain. Almost in the entire north and north-east part of the country (the province Gyeongsang, Gangwon, Gyeonggi), an occurrence of this infectious disease is registered. Milk automatic machines in Brno go bankrupt, interest in them falls

An interest in fresh milk from automatic machines, which enthused Brno inhabitants in the spring, has decreased. Three has already finished owing to a fierce sale fall. Suppliers assert that it is because of a campaign which warned against heath hazards of raw milk. An idea thanks to which people can have a healthy dish for small money every day. Ans at the same time a support for local farmers. From recognitions addressed to the fresh-milk machines, which appeared at several places in Brno in the spring, it would be possible to compose a whole list still some time ago.
