Euro: Fuksa wants to strengthen his influence in agrarian funds

The Minister of Agriculture Ivan Fuksa (ODS) wants to strengthen his influence in the State Agricultural Intervention Fund (SZIF) and the Land Fund (PF). According to him, the funds which manage tens of billion crowns every year should be subject directly to the minister of agriculture. A daily Euro writes that in its Monday issue. “I present budgets of both the institutions in the government and the parliament, nevertheless, I do not command them. It is a schizophrenic situation”, Fuksa said to the daily. Reputedly, he has already got approval from the premier Petr Nečas (ODS) to prepare a change of law on SZIF introducing a direct responsibility of a fund director to the minister of agriculture. “For the present, I can just politely ask men in the head to do something”, Fuksa stated further.

Lesy ČR multiplied gross profit to 2.823 billion crowns over 11 months

The state enterprise Lesy České republiky (LČR) created a gross profit 2,828 billion crowns over the 11 months last year which is more than treefold better result than over the entire year 2009. At the same time it is dealt with the highest profit in a history of the firm. A spokesman of LČR Zbyněk Boublík informed on it today. the Firm substantiates this year´s significant increase in profit by savings and also by growth in wood prices. According to Boublík, the firm´s profit increases despite the fact that it has to continuously deal with high extraordinary costs for liquidation of flood damages and damages caused by windstorm. Lesy ČR owns a half of forests in the country.

Incomes in agriculture higher in EU this year

According to actual estimations of Eurostat, average real incomes in agriculture in the European Union in recount on one employee will increase year-on-yearly by 12.3 %. Agricultural incomes in the EU again better themselves significantly after a fall in 2009. According to first estimations of the European Statistic Office (Eurostat), real incomes in the EU per one employee have increased against the foregoing year at average by 12.3 %. German agricultural enterprises could even record an increase in incomes by 22.8 %. Thereby, Germany would rank among 16 member states which reached above-average result. German farmers would earn by a quarter more money this year than in 2005.

Beer export experiences biggest crisis in history. It can be saved by export in Russia
