Česká drůbež defends against verdict about eggs, Germans have to decide

Eggs from a firm Česká drůbež from the region Domažlice, which according to the State Veterinary Administration imported German eggs with incorrectly presented origin, are after the information hardly saleable in the Czech Republic. The firm has to wait for a result sent from Germany whether the sorting plant in Germany did not belong among firms involved with restrictions owing to a possible dioxin contamination. The misconduct is only administrative because Germans use double marking of eggs, an agent of Česká drůbež, Petr Červený said to ČTK.

According to them, many species of plants and animals start their reproduction within a temperature change sooner, however, it is not just usual in big mammals.

Only 10 percents of Czechs want fruit from market. Markets hold rule

Specialized shops of fruit and vegetable go down in the Czech Republic. Czechs changed them in overwhelming majority for hypermarkets and supermarkets of large chain stores. Only a quarter of respondents shop in small shops only with fruit and vegetable; even only a tenth of interviewed purchase on market places. Large self-service markets are preferred almost in two thirds of Czechs. A company Chiquita found it out in its investigation. People choose the place where they buy fruit and vegetable mainly according to the width of supply. “Generally, 87 percents of interviewed are satisfied with the fruit and vegetable assortment, however, 52 percents criticize an appearance and quality”, the company Chiquita, which import bananas in the Czech Republic, stated.

Pressure on EU executive regarding to cloning grows

European representatives encourage under pressure of the public the European Commission to publish as quickly as possible its report about cloning. The attention was attracted to the topic by July affairs when a keeping of two bulls, which came from cloned cow originating from the USA, was uncovered in Great Britain. The cloning problems are connected also with a draft instruction of the European Parliament and the Council which would govern the market with new foods in more unified way.
