Czech Republic will got money from globalization fund

Finally, the European Parliament allotted 323 820 Euro (roughly eight million crowns) to the Czech Republic. The total sum should cover by return a support programme for searching for job for several hundreds of employees of the company Unilever ČR which closed a factory in Nelahozeves in Mělník region. It is dealt with the first case at all when the Czech Republic will obtain finances from so called EU Globalization Fund (EFG). “Nelahozeves … is dependent in a considerable degree on food production and more than 25 percents of those who are searching for a job in this area have only a basic education.”

All meats could be marked with origin already in half year

Not only pig meat but also other meats should be marked with a country of origin roughly in six to sixteen months. The Minister of Agriculture Ivan Fuksa (ODS) said it in the radio Impuls yesterday. He strives to enforce marking of these one-component foods in the European Union. In case of pig meat it was invoked by an affair around the dioxin occurrence in meat produced in Germany at the turn of year. “I presented it (the proposal for marking of one-component meat foods) at a meeting of ministers of agriculture, I think in January or February…”

Lesy ČR: 60 million for support of public utility functions of forests in 2011

The support and development of public utility functions of forests is describe in details in a document called “Programme 2000 - security of aims of public interest in Lesy České republiky” (further only Programme 2000). This programme serves for financing of renewal and servicing of tourist tracks and trails, nature trails, rest places, wells, cultural monuments, and many other activities in forests. “Lesy ČR secure the realization of Programme 2000 from own financial means, so from the created profit.”

Project “System of managerial education for strengthening of capacity and efficiency of State Agricultural and Food Inspection” starts

The State Agricultural and Food Inspection in Brno has started to realize a project System of managerial education for strengthening of capacity and efficiency of the State Agricultural and Food Inspection with a registration number CZ.1.04/4.1.00/58.00001 which is financed from means of the Operational Programme Human resources and employment (OP LZZ) by means of the European Social Fund in the CR. The project team has proposed a basic schema of the project on base of call appeal number 58, the priority axe number 4 - Public administration and public services, declared by the Interior Ministry of the CR.
