Union of Marginal Areas does not agree with exchange in post of Minister of Agriculture

Suggestions for recalling of several ministers including the Minister of Agriculture Ivan Fuksa have appeared on the political domestic scene in recent days. The Union of Marginal Areas as an organization representing farmers from less favourable areas of the CR does not agree with the idea to recall Ivan Fuksa from the office of Minister of Agriculture. The mentioned step would lead to a further destabilization of agricultural sector.

Beekeepers can get money from region

Beekeepers working on the territory of Olomouc region can draw a subsidy for their bee-keeping activity already today. Councilmen at their Tuesday negotiation approved conditions of the Programme for Support of Starting and Registered Beekeepers for 2011. In total, the region will provide 400 thousand crowns for purchase of beehives, bees and new equipment for beekeepers this year. “We want to support above all starting beekeepers who did not own any bee colonies at the last year end; they can get as many as 15 thousand crowns from the regional contribution.

According to sellers, farmer markets are important for sale and advertising

Farmer markets can be for regional producers not only a new sale but also advertising and a possibility to promote better their products. Liberec markets have been opened fort the first time today at a new business centre Forum. According to producers similar actions are important and thanks to them their goods can faster get in awareness of people. ČTK found it out among sellers. “It can help, of course. People return back to eating of healthy foods, not the chemical ones from supermarkets”, Petr Zeman remarked.

Czech tractor has won recognition at EXPO in Hanoi

At the 21st international business fair VIETNAM EXPO in Hanoi, which took place from the 6th to the 9th of April, the highest award - a gold medal was bestowed a tractor by the firm WMC - Wise Market Company, a. s. from Prague determined for work on rice fields. Vietnamese state delegation lead by a vice-chairman of the National Assembly of the Vietnamese Socialistic Republic Uong Chu Luu, saw over it with great interest at the fair opening. A representative of the company WMC, Marcel Winter, acquainted him with the project to largely produce and subsequently to mount this tractor directly in Vietnam.
