The company Billa offers currently in its supermarket networks already more than 250 products in bio-quality. 150 products of them it sells under its own mark “Naše bio” (our bio). Since 2009, when Naše bio originated, Billa has driven for as wider offer of bio-products originated from the Czech Republic as possible.

Minister will participate in meeting of ministers of OECD Council

An annual meeting of the Council of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) at the ministerial level represents the supreme meeting of representatives of member states of OECDfor purpose of discussion of crucial economic and political questions and determination of priorities for work of OECD in next period. This year´s meeting is extraordinary in that it takes place in the year of the 50th anniversary of OECD foundation, symbolically under presidency of the USA (Hillary Clinton). The main topics of the meeting with a work name „Better policy for better life“ are new resources of growth and job opportunities, equality ofgender,a nd building of partnership with developing countries.

Popularity of bulk teas in CR grows; fruit ones are most favourite

An interest in tea and tea culture increases in the Czech Republic. Above all popularity of high-quality bulk teas grows; despite the fact people buy the most fruit teas. A company Oxalis, the top Czech producer and coffee and tea distributor, stated it today. “The interest in tea and tea culture as such really increases in the Czech Republic. According to our measures a volume of all sold teas has even increased by 11 percents against the last year”, a founder and owner of the firm Petr Zelík stated. According to him, above all the interest in quality bulk teas increases which is given reputedly by a historical development.
