Stopping of administration of applications for bio-gas stations realization within Rural Development Programme

Announcement to applicants who submitted a project in the 13th round of application reception in the framework of the intention B) building and modernizing of bio-gas station, the measure III.1.1. Diversification of activities of non-agricultural character (the reception of application 14. 6. 2011 - 27. 6. 2011). The Minister of Agriculture Ivan Fuksa with respect to the situation in area of renewable energy resources gave cue to stop the administration of applications for building of bio-gas stations. The main reason of this step is reflecting a further development in the area of renewable energy resources in the framework of European Union and at the same time with it connected contexts on the field of agri-food production.

Food and Agriculture Organization will negotiate about help to Somalia

Today in Roma, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the UNO will negotiate about an aid for an area of African corner hit by disastrous drought and starvation. Lesy ČR acted in areas hit by floods

Last week and throughout the last weekend, Lesy ČR strengthened monitoring in all regions hit by floods. Increased rainfall total sum in Jizerské mountains, Orlické mountains and Jeseníky caused flood states on water courses administrated by Lesy ČR and damages to forest tracks. “Thanks to increased and permanent monitoring in the hit areas we succeeded in time to clear impassable water course troughs, especially in Jizerské mountains and Jeseníky, and to prevent more significant damages to property”, Svatopluk Sýkora, a general director of Lesy ČR tells.
