Disparity in subsidies in agriculture in EU continues

A friction among Czech farmers culminates and after today´s decisive negotiation in Brussels about the future of Common Agricultural Policy in the EU it is not clear whether even the different approach in subsidies will not deepen between old and new EU countries from 2013.Hereat, just this year should be a promise of a fair evening up of different supports flowing on farms of the former EU 15 and to newly accessed countries.

This year´s harvest was successful. But what next?

From time out of mind, harvest is the most important period of economic year of every farmer. It closes the year natural cycle, crop is harvested, and then a new one is grounded on till the next year. It happens year by year through centuries. A different is only in that harvest today is a concert of modern technology and a minute work organization, whereas before it was a matter of the whole countryside and relatives from towns. Who had hand and legs, helped. This year´s harvest which finished one and half month ago was successful. The yield was high and prices relatively good. Weather during the first half of harvest was not favourable, however, the second half was excellent even as regards the weather.
