Senate will approve more expensive registration in cadastre and agricultural amendments

People will probably pay double instead of the present 500 crowns for a registration in the cadastre of real estates from the next year. A government amendment, recommended today to be passed without changes by the parliamentary agricultural committee, counts on it. Also amendment on ecological agriculture and on transfer of 1.1 milliard crowns from the Land Fund to national endowment resources got unanimous support of the Senate. It will approve the amendments in coming days.

Antimonopoly Office suspended mega-tender of Lesy ČR

The Antimonpoly Office (úUOHS) suspended a giant tender of the state enterprise Lesy ČR for works in forests after 2012. It issued a preliminary measure. A chairman of the Office for the Protection of Competition Petr Rafaj said it to ČTK without more detailed information today. Lesy ČR can not close contracts with winners. ÚOHS got two stimuli. On base of one of them it started an administrative proceeding. It issued also a preliminary measure. ÚOHS issues preliminary measure only in cases when there are doubts about correctness of acting of customer. Rafaj did not specify in which these doubts consist.

Agrofert can buy Uniles, Antimonopoly Office allowed it

Agrofert holding owned by an entrepreneur Andrej Babiš can strengthen its position in the area of forestry. The Antimonopoly Office allowed an acquisition of Rumburk company UNILES. A chairman of the Office for the Protection of Competition Petr Rafaj confirmed it to ČTK. ÚOHS has already approved several acquisitions to Agrofert this year. The group entered the area of forestry this year by a purchase of a group Wotan. According to available information, Agrofert bought, according to foregoing information, eighty-percent share in companies in České Budějovice Wotan Forest, a.s., Wotan Forest Service, a.s., and in a firm ALFA Plywood, a.s. from Solnice in the Rychnov region.

Harvest of apples in south Bohemia is worst over 30 years

The harvest of apples in south of Bohemia slowly ends; it will the worst over the last 30 years. Fruit-growers announce a crop almost by two thirds lower than in last years. In some orchards, spring frosts damaged it completely. Somewhere as many as damaged fruit will go to processing. Elsewhere, the quality of apples is good. It differs in orchards by orchards. Even if fruit growers sell apples for ten or fifteen crowns for one kilogram; people can buy them in supermarkets roughly for 25 crowns. ČTK found out it today. A company Zemcheba Chelčice from the region Strakonice, which grows fruit on 417 hectares, harvested 1200 tonnes of apples and about 400 tonnes remain still in orchards.
