Advantageous connection of basic industry producer and processor
A dairy works in Valašské Meziříčí returned again in hands of agricultural owners in May 2011. Thereby, an extraordinary advantageous connection of agricultural basic industry producer and a processor happens in Lacrum Velké Meziříčí. Such connections work successfully for example in Germany. If the milk supplier is also its processor, the common interest in quality of raw material - milk and final products of a dairy works is united.
Number of people working in agriculture has decreased ten times since 1948
The number of people working in agriculture has decreased to a tenth since 1948 to the last year. While in 1948, 1.3 million inhabitants worked in the branch on the territory of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia, it was only 132 000 last year. It results from data published in a Historical yearbook of Czech agriculture 1918 - 2010 introduced by the Czech Statistic Office (CSO) to journalist today. Also a share of women in employment in the branch decreased significantly in the mentioned period. While sixty years ago, women created the absolute majority of employees in agriculture, in 2010 it was only one third.
Disagreement with agrarian reform
Responses to a draft reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) presented by European commissioner Dacian Cioloss are altogether negative. The Czech Republic became one of informal leaders in organizing a stress on changes in the proposed conception. It was also the former Minister of Agriculture Ivan Fuksa and it is also the new minister Petr Bendl. Also the main Czech non-governmental agrarian organizations participate in; especially the Agrarian Chamber of the CR has the respect and authority in this respect.
Prices of carps and trees in Pardubice region will not change or only slightly
Prices of carps and Christmas trees in Pardubice region will not change or only minimally in comparison with the last year. ČRTK found out it in large fish producers and breeders in the region. The unchanged price is kept by a relatively strong competition, however, for the final customer they can be increased substantially by sellers. A company Rybniční hospodářství Lázně Bohdaneč in Pardubice region will sell one kilogram of first class carp for 75 crowns and choice carp for 80 crowns; same as in foregoing two years, Miroslav Středa from a trade section of the firm stated. The firm sells annually before Christmas about 30 tonnes of choice carp with weight over 2.5 kg and about ten tonnes of first class carps from 1.8 to 2.5 kilograms.
