Department of agriculture does not pay to farmers so many as it should do while education does not know what to do with money
The Ministry of Agriculture will pay to farmers for done output by 36 % less in 2012 than European legislative orders. It is dealt with state commissions which concern the care for landscape, and are contracted in the framework of Programme of Rural Development for five years. By means of these commissions, resp. public estates the state ensures for inhabitants clean drinking water, solves flood risks and so on. Farmers are forced to meet their obligations without being paid for them properly. The problem insists in that Czech officials interpret incorrectly the amount of means which should be paid to Czech farmers. European regulations impose a duty to member states to discharge done work to farmers in the amount of expend costs, resp. of incurred detriment. However, the Ministry of Agriculture artificially decrease sums for payment by that it divide them by a historical exchange rate 29,784 CZK/Euro and pay them out annually in the actual exchange rate, which is lower.
Land Fund cancelled tender for legal services for 140 millions
Reservations of the Minister of Agriculture Petr Bendl about some tenders and steps of the Land Fund do not miss an effect, according to today´s daily E15. The Land Fund cancelled a tender at the last year end in which it look for a firm for provision of legal services with a supposed price 140 million crowns for four-year agreement, it writes. Just the tender for legal services was one of those which Bendl dislikes much after his October coming in the function. It was for time fourfold longer than the time of existence of the Land Fund itself is. Owing to savings the Land Fund should integrate with the Land Office to the last December this year, E15 writes.
ÚOHS started examine tender of Lesy ČR, it did not issue preliminary measure
The Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS) started to re-examine a tender of Lesy ČR for forestry works for this year. It obtained a proposal for this year. It obtained a proposal for a start of proceeding of one of firms, a spokesman of ÚOHS Kristián Chalupa said to ČTK. Nevertheless, Lesy ČR can continue in signing the contracts with winners; ÚOHS did not issue any preliminary measure, which would obstruct to that. ÚOHS had already dealt once with forestry tenders. It also issued a preliminary measure which cancelled at the beginning of December. It did not find a breach of the law. The Office has not published its decision yet. It only state that “the contracting authority acted in accordance with law regarding observance of transparency principle”.
Saw-mills complain, there is lack of wood owing to delay of LČR tenders
Czech saw-mills has a lack of wood owing to signing of contracts between Lesy České republiky (LČR) and winners of tenders for works in state forests for this year. Therefore, some firms reduce production and other replace deliveries from state forests with wood purchased from other owners. It results from an inquiry made by ČTK among saw-mills in regions. LČR which manages a half of forests in the country denies a lack of wood on the market. A spokesman of LČR Zbyněk Boublík did not answer a today´s ČTK question how many contracts was signed now and added that he will issue a press release to this next week.
