Sixth reception round of Application for subsidy from OP Fishery will be opened in June 2010

The Minister of Agriculture announces the sixth reception round of Applications for subsidy from the Operational Programme Fishery 2007 - 2013. In frame of the sixth round of OP Fishery, applicants will be able to submit Applications for subsidy for projects of the measure 3.1. Common activities, intention a) Increase of expert knowledge in the branch of fishery, and for projects of the measure 3.2. Measures for water animals and plants preservation, intention b) let off of fresh-water eel (Anguilla anguilla). The sixth reception round from OP Fishery will be opened on 24.6.2010 and closed on 30.6.2010 at 13 o´clock.

Cool spring help forest in Vysočina, slowed down development of wood engraver

This year´s cool spring slowed down development of wood engraver in forest in Vysočina. A worse situation was a year ago when wood engraver calamity affected Ledeč region. Reduction of damages caused by this insect depends also on forest owners who should thoroughly treat affected wood. Owing to a slow progress, the Czech Inspection of Environment (ČIŽP) imposed 23 fines to them in total for 157 000 crowns and the same number of measures for redemption.

Fresh milk will not kill anybody

Several generations drank it and lived to see retirement. Raw milk just from a cow was and is immediately after cooling down immensely good. It does not need a support of chemical substances, it is only natural and beneficial to a body. It started to be comfortably available for au thanks to milk automats number of which has recently increased. Now there are 140 of them but farmers promise that by the end of next year there will be as many as thousand of them. We joined many countries, for example the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Slovakia.

Lesy ČR introduced two new fish crossings on rivers in Jizerské hory

Last year, Lesy České republiky, s.p., Watercourse administration - area of the river Labe (ST-OPL) finished on rivers in its expert administration building of two fisg crossings. Both the buildings are placed in the Protected Landscape Area Jizerské hory. Concretely it was dealt with a reconstruction of a present fish crossing at conduit regulator on Bílý potok near the municipality Bílý Potok pod Smrkem. The original crossing built at the same time with the reservoir was functional according to expertises only partially and it connected through the watercourse over and under the dike imperfectly.
